RV parks that charge extra for cats. Our cats never leave the coach, never mess outside and if they did they would bury it. Charging extra for dogs can almost be justified due to the possible insurance expenses and inevitable cleanup that is required.
Gas stations with pay at the pump but require you to go inside to get a receipt. Kinda defeats the purpose don't you think.
Diesel pumps that are so slow they are painful to use. Flying J is notorious for them. I've been to Flying J's where I can pee harder than the diesel pump at the RV island. Come on guys, change your filters once in awhile. Flying J is also a majority contributor to the above Rant.
For a state where driving is a religion, California is maybe the only state that does not provide exit numbers on the freeways. Every state we have visited up to now uses mile markers to designate exits, what's up with California?
Huntington by the Sea RV Resort - We stopped for one night last October. This "Resort" is essentially an asphalt parking lot with strips marking your spot, a pool and an office. It is very tight and located directly across the street from a HUGH power plant. It's convenient location within walking distance to the ocean is offset by its price, $60.00 a night.
Chula Vista Marina and RV Resort - While this is a very nice RV resort, well maintained and clean, it is the ONLY RV park we have ever visited that charged us extra for our two cats. While the two dollars will not break us, it's the principal.
California's "Marine Layer", the rest of the country call it overcast.
