Located just north of Yuma, AZ on the Arizona/California border the Imperial Dam Recreation Area is a unique place to spend some time if you enjoy watersports. This very nice campground at the Imperial Dam was developed on BLM land. While dozens of very nice park models are on the property the BLM lease restrictions prevent full time occupancy. Most of the park model owners live in the San Diego area and use their place here as a weekend retreat. The RV parking is also very nice with all the expected amenities.
