We traveled to San Diego to visit Joan's brother JD and happened to show up during the celebration of the discovery of San Diego harbor and the 3 Day Cancer Walk. We visited the Cabrillo Monument on Point Loma and watched the tall ships enter the harbor. JD took us out to the tidal pools and to Dog Beach to walk on the sand.
