While in Galveston, TX for a project we stayed a few nights at a city park called Dellanera Beach RV Park right on the coast. This was Joan's and the cats first close up experience with sea gulls. While we where at a McDonalds I surprised Joan by throwing a piece of hamburger on the hood of our car. She was amazed at how many sea gulls flocked to the car looking for food. I had one of them trying to eat a piece of burger through the windshield. What they left on the hood however, was not pretty.

While at the RV park we threw out some food so Thelma and Lousie could see the birds. They didn't know what to think. It looked like a scene from the movie "The Birds".
